As a second workshop in Markham Teen Arts Council’s workshop series, youth will get the opportunity to learn more about the art of photography. 

 

This one hour workshop will focus on the basics of photography with any device, and apply these basics to specific techniques of macro and portrait photography. Topics covered include manual mode, composition, lighting, finding your photo style, macro photography specifics, and portrait photography specifics.

After a fifteen minute session explaining these techniques, the group will walk to TooGood Pond Park to test out the techniques that were explained, with guidance and tips provided throughout. Post-workshop photos will be shared on MTAC social media accounts. We can't wait to see you there!
