Event Details
Markham Teen Arts Council’s annual 24H Film Challenge is back for 2023!
The 24-Hour Film Challenge is one of the Markham Teen Arts Council’s signature events that unites teens across the city to celebrate the art of film-making.
Teens compete in teams to create the best film, incorporating a given line of dialogue, prop, and sound effect—all within a 24 hour deadline. Formal film-making experience is not required—visual storytellers of all experience levels are welcome to participate! If you are interested, please sign up below!

Rules & Guidelines:

Teams and Timeframes:

Teams may have up to 5 members maximum

The film must be completed within the 24 hours given

The film must be under 5 minutes

The final film must be submitted by February 26th @ 1:30pm EST
Agreements and Obligations:

Films must be PG-appropriate and must not contain: nudity, sexual/violent scenes, offensive language, or promote discrimination in any way

By participating, you are agreeing to MTAC’s Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions

Any team that enters the contest agrees to have their films published on MTAC’s YouTube channel
-
At least 1 team member must be present on the Screening Night
*Markham Teen Arts Council reserves the right to disqualify any films that are in violation of these guidelines.
